Role Overview

This Performance Testing Engineer position is ideal for a seasoned professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in performance engineering. The role focuses on designing and executing performance test scripts using industry-standard tools like Apache JMeter and NeoLoad. You will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify system bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance under various load conditions. The role requires a strong understanding of workload modeling, test scenario design, and cloud environments, and you will be expected to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and NeoLoad.
• Perform Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Scalability Testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks.
• Monitor application, server, database, and network metrics during test execution.
• Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings and recommendations.
• Integrate performance testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
• Estimate performance testing effort and provide test planning inputs.
