Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented PL/SQL & Java Developer Interns who aspire to grow into full-time Developers after a 6-month internship. In this role, you will work closely with the backend engineering team to design, build, and maintain resilient enterprise applications in the banking and financial domain. You will gain practical experience in developing scalable backend systems and database-driven solutions while receiving direct mentorship from senior developers and technical leads. The position is on-site in Bangalore and offers a clear career path: high-performing interns will be converted into full-time Developer roles upon successful completion of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
• Collaborate with senior developers to build and test Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Optimize SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
• Support integrations between backend services and front-end or third-party systems.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Learn and apply best practices in secure coding, version control (Git), and unit testing.

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (queries, procedures, triggers, functions). Good understanding of Java (preferably Java 11+), Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SDLC, Agile methodologies, Postman, Git/GitHub, and basic unit testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito). Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
