Role Overview We are seeking a Process Quality Engineer to join our quality assurance team in Noida. This on-site, full-time role focuses on maintaining and improving product quality across the production process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-process and final inspections, defect identification, process monitoring, and maintaining quality records on the shop floor. The position requires practical knowledge of process quality control, engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, inspection methods, and basic measuring instruments. The candidate will collaborate closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues and ensure products meet defined specifications. Fresh diploma holders with strong practical understanding are welcome; 0–2 years of experience in quality control or related manufacturing is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality standards at different stages of the production process.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of products as per defined quality standards.
• Inspect product dimensions, fitment, assembly, appearance, workmanship, and overall quality.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Use basic inspection and measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, measuring tape, meter tape, and other relevant tools.
• Identify production defects, quality issues, and process deviations during manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to identify root causes and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure production activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain inspection records, check sheets, rejection reports, and other quality-related documentation.
• Report quality deviations and non-conformities to the concerned team or reporting manager.
• Support corrective and preventive actions for recurring quality issues.
• Conduct regular shop-floor checks to ensure adherence to defined process and quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation and traceability of inspection activities.

Tech Stack

• Measuring Instruments: Vernier Caliper, measuring tape, meter tape, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Engineering Documents: CAD drawings (2D/3D), tolerance charts, specification sheets, and quality control plans.
• Quality Management: Inspection check sheets, rejection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective action requests (CAR).
• Software: Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Word for documentation; ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
• Manufacturing Equipment: Assembly line jigs, fixtures, and torque wrenches (used in power electronics assembly).

Diploma in Electronics mandatory. 0–2 years of experience in Quality Control or Process Quality preferred. Freshers with strong practical knowledge considered. Must have practical understanding of in-process quality control, engineering drawings, and inspection instruments. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to work on shop floor.
