Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team in Chennai. The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily production operations, from monitoring workflow to coordinating with staff across different stages. This position requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and strong organizational skills to meet production targets and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities and ensure planned work is completed on time.
• Maintain accurate production records and track quantities produced.
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure seamless workflow from one stage to the next.
• Supervise the packing team and ensure all orders are packed correctly and ready for dispatch.
• Handle day-to-day floor issues and packing-related concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Report daily progress, delays, and any concerns to the Production Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Tech Stack

The Production Supervisor will work with standard manufacturing and inventory management tools, including:

• ERP or production planning software (e.g., SAP, Zoho Inventory)
• Microsoft Excel for tracking production data
• Communication tools (e.g., email, Slack)
• Basic computer systems for order management and reporting

• 0-2 years of experience in production or operations management
• Preferred: 1 year experience in operations management
• Willing to work from office in Egmore, Chennai
