Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our project team in Pune. The Project Engineer will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy, resource optimization, and quality throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves daily coordination between internal teams and clients, managing change orders, submittals, and other project engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of construction experience and a strong understanding of industry practices in both Indian and foreign markets. You will work closely with project managers and contribute to estimation, document management, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all activities related to project management, including change orders, submittals, and engineering tasks.
• Undergo training to become familiar with all services related to project engineering verticals and perform tasks to the highest standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with client project managers during daily project meetings, providing updates on assigned tasks.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry construction practices and how facilities are designed and built in Indian and foreign markets.
• Work on project engineering activities including 2D overlays, submittals, change orders, estimation, and more.
• Assist project managers in initial estimating efforts for new projects, including hours and resource requirements.
• Maintain positive working relationships with counterparts and uphold thorough quality assurance and control standards across the company and individual projects.
• Develop and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners.
• Take ownership of document management applications and ensure proper documentation.

Tech Stack

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Bluebeam (for PDF markup and collaboration)
• On-screen takeoff and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu)
• 2D CAD software (implied knowledge of AutoCAD or similar)
• BIM software experience (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) is a plus
• Project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or MS Project) – preferred

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5+ years of construction experience; experience with reputed construction/engineering firms preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of change order and submittals management, and general project administration.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Preferred: Experience with Bluebeam, On-screen takeoffs, or estimation software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
