Role Overview

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a vital role in the supply chain process by managing the purchase order lifecycle, communicating effectively with suppliers, and ensuring that operational commitments are met. You will be responsible for tracking development across multiple projects, maintaining critical records, and managing the flow of communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Management: Draft, issue, and send Purchase Orders (POs) to domestic suppliers, keeping detailed records of each transaction to maintain transparency and accuracy.
• Supplier Communication & Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with active suppliers regarding order statuses and delivery timelines, ensuring prompt follow-up on pending deliveries and resolving any outstanding queries.
• Delay Flags & Exception Reporting: Proactively monitor delivery timelines, raising flags when suppliers risk breaching commitments, and provide regular updates through structured reports regarding supplier performance and delivery achievements.
• New Development Tracking: Keep a detailed New Development Tracker for all items under development, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely approval of artwork and trial scheduling.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹27,000 per month.

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in CRM or Data analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, comparative sheets) and MS Word.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or equivalent).
• Understanding of import procedures, Incoterms, customs duty calculations, and freight documentation.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized with strong communication skills.
