Role Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through automated testing processes. Reporting to the Test Lead, you will collaborate closely with both product and development teams to ensure rigorous testing frameworks are implemented, facilitating smooth deployments and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with the product team and development team on a daily basis to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop and maintain QA automation scripts based on defined requirements, enhancing the existing testing framework.
• Validate complete test suites with the Test Lead and assist in preparing comprehensive automation testing strategies.
• Apply DevOps features to improve the efficiency of testing processes and facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
• Engage in complex integration testing and support testing efforts across a large portfolio of high-traffic websites.

Requirements

• Experience: 8-10 years in QA Automation
• Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in software testing of web-based applications using a structured testing methodology.
  • 3+ years experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium.
  • 2+ years of programming experience with languages like PHP, Java, Python, or Perl.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, XML, XPATH, and CSS.
  • Experience in web and API testing methodologies, including SOAP and authentication services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Other Skills:
  • Experience performing backend service testing with Python and Java.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frequent release cycles.
