Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer who doesn't wait for bugs to be handed to them—you will own and design the systems that continuously test our platforms across web, mobile, and APIs, flagging issues before they reach users. In this hands-on role, you will build, maintain, and improve automation frameworks, set up comprehensive monitoring systems, and work closely with the Product team to ensure high quality is maintained through every release cycle. Key Responsibilities

• Write detailed, maintainable testing scripts that cover functional, regression, and edge case scenarios, ensuring robust coverage across all application layers.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and API layers using industry-standard tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Utilize core Python or JavaScript skills to build and enhance test automation, writing clean and reusable code when necessary.
• Integrate AI and automation technologies, including Playwright Agents, to create intelligent test flows that adapt to application changes.
• Set up continuous monitoring systems that test live environments around the clock, not just at release time, to catch regressions early.
• Identify, document, and raise bugs in Jira with clarity and enough context for developers to act quickly and efficiently.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance test coverage, automatically generate test cases, and identify edge cases that manual testing might miss, thereby increasing overall testing efficiency.
• Partner with the Product team early in the feature development lifecycle to understand new features and build test coverage before launch.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks as products evolve, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Report on test results, coverage gaps, and overall system health in a structured and consistent way, providing clear visibility to stakeholders.
