Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a hybrid role where you will design, develop, and maintain structured, scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and .NET (C#). You will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both manual testing and test automation, with a passion for AI-driven testing tools and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (UI, API, integration) using Playwright and .NET (C#) following clean code principles (SOLID, DRY).
• Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) architecture for reusable test suites.
• Integrate AI-driven testing tools such as Visual AI for visual regression and LLM APIs for semantic assertions or self-healing locators.
• Perform thorough manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and regressions.
• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform exploratory, usability, and edge-case testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results.
• Analyze test coverage, prioritize high-risk areas, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain test data, environments, and reporting dashboards.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured), Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and bug-tracking systems. Ability to write clear test cases and defect reports. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Curiosity and continuous-learning mindset.
