Role Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks aimed at enhancing the quality of enterprise-level web and mobile applications. Your expertise in tools such as Robot Framework, Python, Selenium, and Perfecto will enable you to create reliable automated testing solutions, integrate quality gates within CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous improvement in software quality through modern Quality Engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Robot Framework and Python. Build UI automation frameworks with Selenium and/or Playwright, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Cloud & Device Testing: Manage web and mobile application testing on Perfecto cloud-based devices, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across platforms.
• Model-Based Testing: Utilize ConformIQ to generate and maintain model-based test assets and ensure alignment with functional requirements.
• Continuous Integration & Quality Engineering: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD environments, maintain execution reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Defect Analysis & Collaboration: Investigate automation failures and collaborate with teammates to resolve issues efficiently. Participate in Agile ceremonies to drive process improvements.
• Quality Standards & Documentation: Adhere to coding standards, maintain automation documentation and guide teams in quality practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in software test automation for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework and Python.
• Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation.
• Familiarity with ConformIQ or similar model-based testing tools.
• Experience with Perfecto for cloud device testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines integration for automated testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API test automation using REST APIs, Postman/Newman, or similar.
• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices with Gherkin.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with accessibility, performance, or security testing tactics.
• Understanding of modern Quality Engineering practices and methodologies.
