Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cybersecurity platform. This role combines both Manual and Automation Testing responsibilities, ranging from designing comprehensive test cases and executing functional validations to building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Design and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
• Validate UI/UX against design specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or equivalent defect management systems.
• Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers during sprint cycles to identify and resolve issues early in the development process.
• Participate in release validation and provide quality sign-off for deployments.

Automation Testing

• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop and execute API test suites using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement and support performance, load, and reliability testing strategies.
• Maintain and optimize automated scripts to align with new feature releases and product enhancements.
• Generate automation reports, test coverage metrics, and quality dashboards for engineering stakeholders.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks, and testing best practices.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation, test reports, release notes, and sign-off checklists.
• Advocate for a quality-first mindset across the product development lifecycle.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance covering both Manual and Automation Testing. Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks. Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript). Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent defect management, debugging, and reporting skills using Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent tools. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
