Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate will specialize in testing CAD and PLM products, ensuring high-quality software releases through manual and automated testing. This role requires deep knowledge of leading CAD and PLM systems such as NX, Solid Edge, Creo, CATIA V5, Solidworks, and Teamcenter. You will work closely with development teams to reproduce and fix problem reports (PRs), validate product installers and licenses, and contribute to benchmark activities. The role also involves creating and maintaining test cases, test data, and automated test suites, as well as preparing release assessment reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer-oriented test specifications and test cases, and validate test data for assigned projects and products per customer workflow
• Set up and maintain test environments including CAD and Teamcenter installation and configuration
• Perform manual functional, performance, usability, and system integration regression testing of translators
• Contribute to automated functional and performance testing processes, automating repetitive manual tests
• Author project acceptance test cases and execute pre-integration and post-integration testing
• Perform problem report (PR) analysis and validation for assigned products
• Assist the development team in reproducing PRs and validating fixes
• Conduct product validation for monthly product updates, patches, and hot fixes
• Validate product installers and licenses
• Review requirement and functional specifications from a testing perspective
• Execute automated tests, perform failure analysis, and report results to development
• Manage test suites—adding new cases to automation and performance test suites
• Prepare release assessment reports for release management
• Participate in benchmark activities
