Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about ensuring high-quality software development. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing complex test cases for both frontend and backend systems. This role requires collaboration within an agile framework, working closely with developers, QA analysts, and architects to maintain product quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases based on requirements from product management and engineering teams.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment, developing acceptance test cases and tests as a key team member.
• Create, implement, and report on both manual and automated testing processes.
• Utilize test automation frameworks and be capable of creating frameworks from scratch.
• Manage the defect tracking process and verify software with design teams to ensure defect accuracy and communication.
• Prepare software automation tracking and report project status to stakeholders.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Agile, SDLC, and STLC methodologies for effective quality assurance.
• Participate in meetings with client stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify technical problems as needed.

Salary

Estimated monthly salary is around ₹80,000 - ₹1,50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Proficient with programming languages such as Java.
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks like Rest Assured, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, and Playwright (mandatory).
• Experience with database testing (DB/SQ).
• Familiarity with source code management tools like GIT.
• Knowledge of testing concepts including regression, functional, and API testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
