Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on the SOLIDWORKS Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and performance of our CAD software on the Windows platform. Your primary focus will be on validating product functionality, usability, and robustness from initial design through to final release. Working closely with development teams, you will help identify and resolve issues quickly, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in mechanical design, a deep understanding of SOLIDWORKS, and a passion for delivering excellence in software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Design and Execution: Create detailed test designs and execute test cases, including interactive testing that emulates real customer workflows. Run and review automated tests to validate product functionality.
• Quality Evaluation: Participate actively in testing requirements across functionality, usability, performance, workflow, and robustness. Ensure that the SOLIDWORKS design environment meets both internal standards and customer expectations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with application development teams to quickly identify, report, and verify defects. Provide valuable feedback to improve the overall quality of the software.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve QA processes by capitalizing on customer feedback and incident reports. Contribute to enhancing testing content and efficiency.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and other CAD/PLM tools to articulate the value of solutions to partners and customers. Support the development of professional solutions for the product.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, scripts, and results. Ensure all QA activities align with company standards.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 - ₹1,40,000 per month

B.E./M.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design or software testing. Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, experience with 3DEXPERIENCE/PLM tools, and familiarity with Python or automation. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
