Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to own and lead the complete Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management System (QMS) function at our Sanaswadi facility. This is a permanent, on-site position reporting directly to senior management. The QA Manager will be accountable for implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 standards, overseeing incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes, managing customer complaints and supplier quality, leading internal and external audits, and driving rejection reduction and cost-saving initiatives. The role also involves managing a team of quality executives and inspectors, training employees on quality standards, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and implement ISO 9001:2015 QMS. Prepare, review, and update SOPs, procedures, and work instructions. Conduct regular QMS compliance reviews, define and monitor quality objectives and KPIs, and coordinate management review meetings.
• Incoming Material Quality: Establish inspection standards for all raw and packaging materials. Inspect incoming materials as per approved specifications, monitor supplier rejection rates, raise supplier quality complaints, and coordinate corrective actions with the purchase department.
• In-Process Quality Control: Set quality checkpoints at critical production stages, develop and maintain process control plans, conduct first-piece inspections, and monitor critical process parameters to minimize rejection, rework, and scrap.
• Final Inspection: Ensure finished products are inspected against dimensions, weight, appearance, and functionality. Verify batch/lot traceability and release only approved products for dispatch.
• Customer Complaint Management: Investigate complaints using root cause analysis. Prepare 8D/CAPA reports, define corrective and preventive actions, and maintain complaint records with trend analysis.
• Non-Conforming Material Control: Segregate rejected material, maintain NCR records, decide on disposition (rework, scrap, re-inspection), and implement corrective actions for recurring defects.
• Internal & External Audits: Prepare internal audit plans, conduct audits across departments, and coordinate customer and ISO certification audits. Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Training & Team Management: Train employees on quality policy, SOPs, and work instructions. Manage and develop the quality team, allocate responsibilities, and evaluate individual performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive rejection and cost reduction by monitoring production rejection, identifying quality loss sources, and implementing improvement projects in collaboration with production.
• Traceability & 5S: Ensure full traceability from raw material to finished goods, and maintain 5S in quality areas.

Salary: ₹50,000 - ₹65,000 per month
