Role Overview

As a Safety Officer at MM Aqua Technologies Ltd., you will play a crucial role in promoting health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across the manufacturing facility. This position will require you to assist in the implementation of safety policies, conduct inspections, participate in safety training, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices related to workplace safety. This is a full-time position based in Gurgaon/Palwal, Haryana, and is ideal for individuals with relevant experience who are looking to contribute to a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of safety policies and procedures across the plant.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe conditions to the respective departments.
• Support the identification of hazards and basic risk assessment activities to mitigate dangers.
• Ensure personnel and contractors are equipped with and using the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions for all employees.
• Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, maintaining thorough records and reports.
• Collaborate in ensuring compliance with the Factories Act, Haryana Factory Rules, and company safety standards.
• Maintain essential documentation such as safety registers and inspection reports.
• Monitor workplace standards, focusing on housekeeping and safe working conditions throughout the shop floor.
• Assist in training and preparedness activities, including fire drills and emergency response protocols.
• Work closely with various teams to continuously improve workplace safety measures and reduce potential risks.

Reporting Structure

You will report directly to the Plant Head or HSE Manager, actively participating in safety initiatives and workplace compliance to foster a culture of safety within the organization.

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Safety Officer Certification recognized under Haryana Factory Rules.
• Basic knowledge of the Factories Act, Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Industrial Safety Practices.
• Basic knowledge of Industrial Safety and HSE practices.
• Knowledge of the Factories Act and Safety Regulations.
