Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales of our innovative cargo lashing, packaging, and load securing solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and sales skills to effectively understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet industry demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, customer visits, referrals, and market research. You will be tasked with developing and nurturing customer relationships across logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, manufacturing, and automotive sectors.
• Technical Support: Conduct site inspections and cargo assessments to recommend appropriate lashing and packaging solutions. You will provide technical demonstrations and presentations, ensuring clear communication of product benefits to potential clients.
• Customer Relationship Management: Strive to build long-term relationships with customers, manage inquiries and complaints, and monitor satisfaction levels to encourage repeat business.
• Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems, alongside preparing regular sales reports for management.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, Logistics, or related field. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
• Experience: Freshers or candidates with 1 to 5 years of sales experience in cargo lashing systems, industrial packaging, logistics, material handling products, shipping, transportation industry, or industrial consumables are preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of cargo securing and lashing techniques.
  • Understanding of export packaging standards.
  • Familiarity with ratchet lashings, polyester webbing, dunnage bags, strapping systems, shrink wrapping, and protective packaging materials.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
