Role Overview

As a Sales Head, you will hold a pivotal role in directing the sales efforts of the organization across India. With 10–18 years of experience in the relevant sectors, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and skills to elevate sales performance, drive strategic initiatives, and build robust relationships with key clients. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring and managing a team of Regional and Area Sales Managers, ensuring that the sales targets are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and field sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Drive revenue growth through market expansion and by capitalizing on new opportunities while sustaining current client relationships.
• Cultivate strong alliances with hospitals, healthcare institutions, distributors, OEMs, and strategic clients to secure long-term engagements.
• Oversee PAN India sales operations and ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor assessments, and customer needs evaluations to stay ahead of market trends.
• Formulate sales forecasts, annual budgets, and comprehensive business plans to guide the sales team’s direction.
• Lead key accounts with a focus on strategic negotiations and commercial agreements with major clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations to facilitate successful product launches.
• Monitor sales KPIs and team performance through regular business reviews; address challenges proactively.
• Recruit, train, coach, and maintain high-performance levels within the sales team, ensuring retention of talented individuals.
• Uphold compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and ethical sales practices.

Pay: ₹60,000 - ₹80,000 per month

• 10–18 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Commercial Operations in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Medical Instruments industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in handling distributor networks, institutional sales, and key account management.
• Strong exposure to hospital sales, channel sales, and B2B healthcare business.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management preferred.
• Strong skills in Sales Leadership, Strategic Business Planning, Revenue & Profit Growth, and Effective Negotiation.
