Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Head with 10–18 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading national or regional sales teams, driving business growth, developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to build long-term relationships with hospitals, distributors, healthcare institutions, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute both short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and field sales teams.
• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing business and identifying new market opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, distributors, OEMs, and strategic clients.
• Manage PAN India sales operations and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.
• Develop sales forecasts, annual budgets, and business plans.
• Lead key account management and negotiate commercial agreements with major clients.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Operations teams for successful product launches.
• Monitor sales KPIs, profitability, and team performance through regular business reviews.
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

• Experience: 10–18 years in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Operations.
• Mandatory: Background in Pharma, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in handling distributor networks, institutional sales, and key account management.
• Strong exposure to hospital sales, channel sales, and B2B healthcare business.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management preferred.
