Role Overview

We are seeking a talented SDET / QA Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in both manual and automated testing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our engineering team by ensuring that our applications maintain the highest quality standards. You will leverage your expertise in testing methodologies, automation, and AI technologies to help us build an AI-first engineering culture and significantly enhance our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct thorough functional, exploratory, usability, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases based on product requirements.
• Identify edge cases, validate business workflows, and focus on delivering a seamless customer experience.
• Engage in requirement reviews and communicate critical questions early to mitigate defects before development.
• Verify bug fixes and perform impact analysis across related features.

Automation & Technical Testing

• Construct and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, emphasizing reliability and maintainability.
• Automate significant regression tests and critical user journeys while balancing manual testing efforts.
• Conduct API testing and validation to preemptively catch contract breaks before reaching production.
• Use SQL and backend verification methods to ensure data integrity across systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices with quality gates and automated release validation.

AI-Assisted Quality Engineering

• Help define how the team utilizes AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT for test case generation and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency while upholding quality standards.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage in bug triage and root cause analysis discussions.
• Provide transparent test reports, release sign-offs, and quality visibility across sprint cycles.
• Advocate for shared responsibility in quality among team members.

Requirements

Core Skills

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and automation frameworks such as Playwright.
• Solid SQL skills for backend validation and data verification.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing.
