Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality of our products by breaking things before our users do. In this role, you will help shape modern quality assurance practices by combining strong exploratory and manual testing skills with automation and AI-assisted testing.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct functional, exploratory, usability, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
• Identify edge cases and validate workflows to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in requirement reviews to prevent defects from arising in the development stage.

Automation & Technical Testing

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Automate critical user journeys and regression tests while balancing with manual testing.
• Perform API testing and backend validation using SQL for data integrity checks.
• Contribute to CI/CD quality gates and automated release validation processes.

AI-Assisted Quality Engineering

• Define best practices for leveraging AI tools in testing processes aimed at improving efficiency and coverage.

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to advocate for shared quality responsibility.
• Provide test reports, quality visibility, and collaborate on bug triage and analysis discussions.

Requirements

Core Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in QA, software testing, or SDET roles.
• Strong foundation in manual testing methodologies and defect management.
• Experience creating test cases, test plans, and executing comprehensive test cycles.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and automation framework such as Playwright.
• Solid SQL skills for backend validation and data verification.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with Mobile Application testing.
