Senior Assembly Engineer responsible for assembly line operations, quality assurance, and yield improvement at a 'Make in India' OEM manufacturing facility.

As a Senior Assembly Engineer, you will own end-to-end build quality on the production floor. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in assembly line operations for desktops, all-in-one PCs, laptops, and thin clients. You will drive SOP definition, quality assurance, yield improvement, and technician training. The position is based at the RDP Assembly Facility in Nacharam, Hyderabad and reports to the Production Manager.

Minimum 4 years of hands-on electronics or IT hardware assembly experience (desktops, AIOs, laptops, or similar consumer/enterprise IT). Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics. Solid grasp of PC architecture — motherboards, CPUs, RAM, SSDs, PSUs, cooling, displays, peripherals. Comfortable with assembly tooling — torque drivers, calibration, ESD-safe handling, thermal compound, alignment jigs. Experience in writing or maintaining SOPs, FMEAs, or quality gates. Team leadership experience — supervised or trained a team of 4+ technicians. Lean / 5S / kaizen exposure is a strong plus.
