We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to ensure quality standards in software development and implementation, specifically for eCommerce platforms.

Role Overview

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the software development life cycle, leveraging your expertise in quality assurance to ensure that our in-house and third-party applications meet the highest standards of compliance and user satisfaction. You will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and automating testing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and test software to ensure compliance with organizational standards and user requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project test plans.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, and test results.
• Document all identified problems and assist in their resolution.
• Perform quality assurance on large-scale eCommerce applications to ensure alignment with established standards.
• Refactor and review test scripts, promoting best coding practices within the QA team.
• Communicate testing progress and status updates, escalate issues as necessary to team leads and stakeholders.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for eCommerce platforms, supporting end-to-end integration testing.
• Analyze software processes for potential improvements and incorporate findings into business workflows.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior team members, and serve as a lead when required.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 4+ years of proven QA experience.
• Skilled in testing enterprise-level web applications using various QA tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, Azure, and object model frameworks for enhancing automation infrastructure.
• Proficient in developing and executing Java/Selenium automation scripts using TestNG, Selenium Grid, and cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in at least one development language (preferably OO/Java/Python/Perl).
• Demonstrated Quality Engineering automation experience using Selenium.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Java or any other Object-Oriented Programming language certification.
