We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to lead our DevSecOps team in building secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Senior AWS Cloud DevSecOps Engineer, you will be tasked with creating secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services, automation, CI/CD processes, and a strong commitment to security practices. You will be expected to establish engineering standards and design reusable reference patterns for our DevOps team. Your work will significantly influence the speed of deployments and overall cloud security within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the AWS DevSecOps roadmap, setting engineering standards and creating reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Design and implement Terraform modules and AWS CDK structures for a production-grade, multi-region setup.
• Oversee core AWS services and ensure security compliance across various parameters while contributing to cloud governance.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with solutions such as AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions, embedding security checks throughout the delivery process.
• Lead the management and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring efficient scaling and proper observability.
• Implement practices for observability and reliability using tools like Amazon CloudWatch, ensuring team adherence to defined error budgets and incident responses.
• Promote a culture of security within all aspects of the operations, managing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with regulations such as SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.
• Lead and mentor team members, driving continuous improvement through collaboration with engineering and product stakeholders.

• Containerization: Amazon EKS, Docker, Helm.
• Observability Tools: Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Datadog, Dynatrace.
• Security Tools: AWS IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and others.

• 8+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years in relevant roles.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead or architect position.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EKS, API Gateway, ALB/NLB.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Experience managing Kubernetes using Amazon EKS.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate or Professional certification is required.
