Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with dual expertise in data analysis and data engineering. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines using Apache Spark (Scala or PySpark), creating sophisticated Tableau dashboards, and transforming complex datasets into valuable business intelligence. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Design and deliver advanced data visualizations and reports using Tableau.
• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Spark with Scala or PySpark.
• Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets ready for analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with latest data engineering tools and best practices.

• Other: Strong SQL skills, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), ETL frameworks
