Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer who will be essential in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data platforms that support advanced business intelligence, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python, AWS, SQL, and modern data engineering practices and must be proficient in developing high-performance data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data. Build and optimize data solutions using Python, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake. Take charge of modernizing legacy data platforms and supporting cloud migration initiatives. Additionally, ensure data sets adhere to quality governance and performance standards.
• Cloud & Platform Engineering: Work with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Athena, and Glue to optimize cloud-based data warehouses and processing systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines while adhering to data engineering best practices.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Partner effectively with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Translate business requirements into technical designs. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (MSSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Athena); knowledge of Snowflake and AWS Glue preferred.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling (Kimball preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud migration and modern data architectures.
• AWS Data Analytics or ML certification is a plus.
• Exposure to Media & Marketing Analytics, GCP, or BI tools is an advantage.
