Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative AI solutions that revolutionize the Smart Buildings and Infrastructure domain. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the development of state-of-the-art AI systems, allowing construction professionals to make informed decisions with real-time data gathered from various sources. You will collaborate with a team of highly talented individuals, creating impactful AI solutions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements to devise effective data science solutions.
• Develop and implement data engineering scripts for constructing training datasets.
• Build and customize deep learning NLP models to meet specific project needs.
• Write production-quality Python code for model development and inference.
• Experiment with custom loss functions and quantitative methods to enhance AI solution accuracy.
• Create AI-driven systems capable of reasoning, planning, and operating with messy, real-world data.
• Design workflows that utilize large language models (LLMs) for solving product challenges.
• Manage end-to-end AI project lifecycle including data pipelines, modeling, and deployment.
• Rapidly prototype and test solutions in a cloud-native environment, ensuring production readiness at every stage.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 7+ years of experience building production ML/AI systems with recent exposure to LLMs or AI agents in data science
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a focus on clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience with unstructured data and images at scale
• Hands-on experience with agent patterns (tool use, function calling, planning, memory)
• Proficiency with LLMs and advanced AI models
• Experience deploying AI systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure in microservices architectures
• Familiarity with data mining algorithms such as Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas
• Strong understanding of machine learning models, training, and hyperparameter tuning
• Proficient in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience in NLP solutions and working with PDF and text document parsing is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
