Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience who possesses a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes, and will play a significant role in automating and optimizing our operational practices. You will be responsible for managing infrastructure as code and supporting release cycles in collaboration with development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Automation: Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform or Ansible and automate operational tasks using Shell/Bash/Python scripts.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Kubernetes clusters for application deployments, manage Docker images, and optimize build processes. Utilize Helm for packaging Kubernetes deployments and configure ingress controllers.
• CI/CD Pipeline & Release Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Automate build, test, and deployment workflows, integrating tools such as SonarQube for code quality checks.
• Monitoring, Logging & Observability: Set up dashboards and alerts using Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch to monitor production and non-production environments effectively. Assist in troubleshooting incidents and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Collaboration & Communication: Engage closely with development, QA, and platform teams to support release cycles. Document processes, workflows, and participate in on-call rotations when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell/Bash/Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
