Unnayan Defence Technologies is a Hyderabad-based defence startup focused on developing innovative, indigenous solutions to strengthen national security. With a strong emphasis on in-house research and development, the company designs proprietary technologies that cater to India's defence needs while also contributing to global defence exports. The team works in a fast-paced R&D environment with a focus on designing, prototyping, and manufacturing high-reliability electronic hardware for defence, aerospace, and industrial applications.
We are looking for a skilled Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to design, develop, test, and validate electronic hardware for embedded and defence-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, multi-layer PCB development, component selection, hardware debugging, and product validation. You will collaborate closely with embedded software, mechanical, and production teams to bring reliable, high-performance products from concept to manufacturing.
5–8 years of experience in embedded hardware development. Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, schematic design, multi-layer PCB design, component selection, hardware debugging, signal integrity, power integrity, and circuit simulation. Proficiency in microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, ARM Cortex-M), communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232/RS-485), and sensors/actuator interfacing. Familiarity with Altium Designer or KiCad. Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations. Good documentation skills. B.E./B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Instrumentation or related field. Preferred: Experience in defence, aerospace, industrial automation, or robotics; knowledge of IPC standards and DFM/DFT; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and teamwork; ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment; attention to detail. Immediate joiner or notice period up to 15 days.
