Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Security Analyst with a rich experience spanning 8 to 13 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations center (SOC), computer emergency response team (CERT), or computer security incident response team (CSIRT) environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the security software systems are effectively managed while mitigating and responding to potential threats. A preference is given to candidates located in Pune, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Response and Collaboration: Collaborate with SOC, CERT, or CSIRT teams to monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents effectively, performing forensic analyses of attack patterns.
• SIEM Administration: Manage the SIEM architecture, ensuring efficient log ingestion and normalization to enhance threat visibility. Create custom automated playbooks and security dashboards tailored for incident response requirements.
• Threat Intelligence Analysis: Collect and analyze threat intelligence feeds to identify emerging threats and provide actionable insights to the team.
• Threat Detection Development: Develop and optimize advanced KQL queries and detection rules in Microsoft Sentinel to counter sophisticated attack vectors while minimizing false positives.
• Security Tool Management: Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of security tools including SIEM and antivirus solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in developing security concepts and hardening guidelines, conduct vulnerability assessments, and contribute to refining SOC policies and procedures.

Salary

Estimated salary range is ₹80,000 - ₹1,50,000 per month, aligned with industry standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, ECE, or related field.
• 8-13 years of experience in SOC, CERT, or CSIRT.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft security products (Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, etc.).
• Proficiency in SIEM administration and threat hunting.
• Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud infrastructures, and operating systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) or CEH preferred.
