Role Overview

We are in search of a Senior Product Manager who is ready to take charge of AI and ML-driven product initiatives specifically targeted at the AEC and BIM domains. The candidate should not only possess vast experience in product management but also have substantial expertise in AI/ML and a sound understanding of AEC/BIM requirements. This unique role will focus on defining and delivering innovations that transform workflows—from design and construction to lifecycle management of assets, effectively shaping the future of built environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product roadmap for AI/ML-powered BIM and AEC platforms, proactively identify growth opportunities, and set the vision for transformative features such as predictive analytics and automated decision-making.
• AI/ML Product Development: Design and deliver capabilities that include automated clash detection, layout optimization, predictive insights on potential project risks, and intelligent document processing.
• Data & Platform Capabilities: Develop data strategies for diverse BIM datasets and construct robust data pipelines while ensuring governance and compliance across AI systems.
• Workflow Optimization & Automation: Utilize AI-driven insights to streamline AEC workflows, including model validation and construction reporting, continually seeking inefficiencies to improve.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with data scientists, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure product relevance and effective integration with existing ecosystems. Validate real-world applications through partnerships across various AEC roles.
• Metrics & Performance: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact on project delivery, quality, and stakeholder adoption.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills / Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, particularly with AI/ML-based products and platforms.
• Strong domain experience in AEC, BIM, construction technology, or infrastructure platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver data-driven and AI-powered products at scale.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
• Knowledge of computer vision and NLP applications relevant to AEC.
• Familiarity with BIM technologies and workflows such as model coordination, clash detection.

Domain Knowledge

• Deep understanding of the design-to-construction lifecycle and project management.
• Insight into AEC collaboration workflows and Common Data Environments (CDE).

Execution Skills

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-centric solutions.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BIM tools like Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360.
