Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage and oversee the technical and administrative aspects of multiple projects simultaneously. This role acts as the primary bridge between executive leadership, clients, and field operations. The ideal candidate is a passionate, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of project delivery and team management. You will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence. The role demands strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Have thorough knowledge of services offered by the client and all involved parties, and use that insight for effective project delivery.
• Take ownership and successfully deliver on the varied requirements of multiple projects running simultaneously.
• Supervise all activities related to project management, change orders, submittals, and other project engineering tasks.
• Directly supervise and train all team members assigned to the project engineering vertical across different tiers.
• Schedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activity.
• Train and develop direct reports through on-the-job and external training opportunities.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit weekly job status reports. Report specific time/estimate/quality issues promptly.
• Maintain thorough quality assurance/control standards and protocols across the company and individual projects.
• Provide general administrative and technical leadership for the project. Maintain all project records and monitor correspondence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for initial estimating efforts of new projects in terms of hours and resources required for successful execution.
• Lead product development efforts for internal teams and supervise team members involved in phased product developments.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts.
• Lead coordination and communication with client project managers during daily project update meetings and as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field, or relevant experience. Graduate degree in Engineering or Business a plus.
• 7-9+ years of construction experience required; working for reputed construction/engineering firms preferred. An impressive portfolio of completed projects from prior work.
• Project Management accreditations/industry affiliations preferred.
• Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
• Skilled at negotiating and developing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
