Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of product quality, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and leadership teams in both India and the Nordics to uphold excellence in our software development lifecycle. Your proficiency in manual and automation testing will be pivotal as we scale our innovative platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test planning to production releases, safeguarding that features are testable and meet industry quality standards.
• Design, develop, and execute test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, API, database, and end-to-end testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks and test suites using Playwright, aiming to automate UI, API, and regression testing, thereby improving coverage and minimizing manual testing efforts.
• Seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, continuously enhancing testing processes and overall software quality.
• Perform thorough API testing using Postman, Swagger, and similar tools to validate application data and ensure business logic operates efficiently across integrations.
• Track, prioritize, and verify defects through resolution, supporting all aspects of release validation and post-release quality monitoring.
• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC, engaging in sprint planning and mentoring junior QA engineers when necessary.

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong expertise in manual and automation testing of modern web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, including building and maintaining automation frameworks and regression test suites.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies with experience in functional, integration, regression, system, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, or equivalent), SQL, and validation of complex business logic and integrations.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices in QA.
• Knowledge of AI-powered development and testing tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
