Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with 6–8 years of robust experience in manual and automation testing. The right candidate will take a proactive role in ensuring high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. This role mandates meticulous attention to detail, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and the expertise to maneuver through complex testing scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements, translating them into comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Participate actively in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings to guarantee that products are testable and maintainable.
• Perform diverse testing activities including functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks alongside reusable test suites tailored for modern applications.
• Execute API testing using tools like Rest Assured and perform database validation through SQL to assure data integrity.
• Document, track, and verify defects until resolution, collaborating closely with development teams to enhance overall product quality.
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI to streamline operations.
• Maintain test coverage metrics and ensure the team meets quality standards and release readiness prior to production deployments.
• Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Engineering discipline.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured or similar tools.
• Strong SQL and Database Testing experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer interaction experience.
• Ability to work independently and drive testing activities with minimal supervision.
