VTEST Software is hiring a Senior SDET to design and maintain test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases of core product capabilities in a hybrid work environment in Pune.

Role Overview

The Senior SDET will design, implement, document, and maintain test frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of core product capabilities. You will develop test automation solutions and help deliver high-quality microservices. This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of a team building next-generation enterprise products. The role is based in Pune with a hybrid work arrangement (Work from Office in Baner/Balewadi).

Key Responsibilities

• Own core product capabilities and drive the delivery of high-quality releases.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Develop test plans and automation by working closely with Product Managers on requirements and with developers to understand the solution design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and support teams to understand customer issues, participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for production defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Establish best practices to make testing repeatable by expanding the use of automation.
• Develop and execute automated performance tests.
• Set up and configure test automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, including minimum 4 years of automation testing experience.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python and Selenium Grid, Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks built from scratch (data-driven and keyword-driven) and tools such as Eclipse, JMeter, and Cucumber.
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of database concepts with the ability to write SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with test and defect management tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.
