Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Embedded Systems with a focus on AUTOSAR, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team located in Pune, Maharashtra. This position offers the opportunity to manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for embedded automotive systems, contributing significantly to projects that are vital to automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and deliver complete AUTOSAR software modules within specified timelines and adhering to quality benchmarks.
• Conduct analysis and debugging for customer-reported issues, performing root-cause analysis, and delivering well-documented solutions in a timely manner.
• Own the release engineering process from beginning to end, preparing software release notes, version documentation, and change logs.
• Provide clear technical direction and support to the project and technical teams during execution phases.
• Collaborate with systems architects and hardware teams to validate software under functional safety and timing constraints.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards, aiming for the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Support verification and validation tasks utilizing approved toolchains such as Polyspace, Tessy, and CANoe.

Requirements

• 3 – 7 years of relevant hands-on industry experience in embedded automotive software.
• Demonstrated expertise in AUTOSAR stack development, integration, and configuration (AUTOSAR Classic Platform).
• Strong command of Embedded C programming and low-level microcontroller programming.
• Solid working knowledge of automotive communication protocols:
  • CAN
  • LIN
  • Ethernet
  • FlexRay
  • UDS/OBD diagnostics
• Experience with one or more AUTOSAR toolchains and configurators.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle in an automotive-grade environment (ASPICE / ISO 26262 awareness preferred).

• Advanced degrees (ME / M.Tech / MS) in relevant fields are an advantage.
