Role Overview

We are expanding our engineering team in India to manage exciting client engagements across various industries. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to building scalable applications, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions tailored for our consulting clients. This position suits engineers who thrive on solving complex challenges, adapting to new technologies swiftly, and participating in diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality software applications
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems
• Build and maintain data pipelines and event-driven applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver effective technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Engage in architecture discussions and technical design sessions
• Code review and mentor fellow engineers
• Troubleshoot production issues and strive for continuous application performance improvements
• Engage with multiple technology stacks depending on client requirements

Tech Stack

Backend Technologies: Kotlin, Java, PHP, Python (FastAPI preferred)

Frontend Technologies: React, Next.js, TypeScript

Data & Messaging: Apache Kafka, Event-driven architecture, Data pipeline development

Cloud & DevOps (Optional): Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Experience building scalable production applications
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies
