Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Python to join our Product Engineering team in Pune. This role demands a creative and technically skilled individual with a proven record in back-end development and a passion for software architecture and application design. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams, driving the development of robust software solutions in a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecting, designing, and developing software solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborating with other engineers and product managers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Communicating effectively across departments to ensure a unified approach to product development.
• Working alongside UX Design, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and Documentation teams to foster a collaborative environment.
• Assisting in designing functional and system tests, and deploying automation tools.
• Providing comprehensive application support and resolving complex issues for customers.
• Rapidly learning new technologies and leveraging 3rd party libraries to accelerate project timelines.

Tech Stack

• Programming Languages: Java, Python, GO.
• Cloud Technologies: Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes.
• Tools: CI/CD tools, distributed managed services, application monitoring software.
• Data Collection Technologies: SNMP, REST, OTEL, WMI, WBEM.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience with back-end development in a Client Server Application development environment focused on Systems Management, Systems Monitoring, and Performance Management Software.
• Deep experience in public cloud environments using Kubernetes and other distributed managed services.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud-based software development and delivery.
• Proficient in one or more high-level languages such as GO, Python, or Java, with deep experience required in one of these.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and participate in multiple projects.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with virtualization platforms like OpenShift is a plus.
• Contributions to engineering and integration efforts with attention to detail and exposure to Open-Source software are advantageous.
