Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our Product Engineering team in Pune. You will be responsible for architecture, design, and development of software solutions tailored to enhance our customer platform. Your ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software architectures and features for our platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of features.
• Perform problem diagnosis and provide end-to-end application support to customers.
• Develop functional and system test designs, contributing to deployment automation.
• Stay current with technological advancements and integrate third-party libraries and tools to enhance product delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in back-end development focusing on client-server applications, systems management, and performance monitoring.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud environments using Kubernetes, Google Cloud, and/or AWS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud software development.
  • Knowledge of data collection technologies such as SNMP, REST, OTEL, WMI, and WBEM.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Other Skills: Results-oriented, team player with a strong work ethic, capable of leading and participating in multiple projects, and adept at adjusting to changing business priorities.

• Experience with virtualization platforms like OpenShift.
