Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an experienced and strategic Senior Technical Recruiter to drive our engineering and product hiring initiatives. This role will involve mentoring a growing team of talent professionals, combining the functions of a player-coach. You will manage full-cycle recruiting for critical technical roles and lead efforts to ensure that our engineering teams are comprised of diverse and high-performing individuals. This position reports to the Sr. Service Delivery Manager/Director and is set in a hybrid model based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting (Player)

   • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for senior and niche technical roles such as Software Engineering, DevOps, Data Science, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Product Management.
   • Innovate sourcing strategies to attract passive talent using advanced techniques including Boolean searches, GitHub, StackOverflow, and X-Ray searching.
   • Conduct comprehensive technical screenings to evaluate candidates on technical skills, behavioral competencies, and cultural fit.
   • Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders by providing insights on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and strategic guidance on recruitment best practices.
   • Manage the offer process, including compensation structuring and negotiation to ensure successful closures.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship (Coach)

   • Mentor and develop a small team of technical recruiters/sourcers fostering growth and a high-performance mindset.
   • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and set performance goals while providing actionable feedback to achieve targets.
   • Act as a point of escalation for any recruitment challenges and help strategize filling complex roles.

3. Strategy, Operations & Data

   • Monitor, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics to hiring managers and executive leadership.
   • Advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives within hiring practices to ensure diverse candidate pools.
   • Optimize the use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools for better efficiency.
   • Drive ongoing improvement processes to enhance the candidate experience and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Experience: 5-7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth tech companies or specialized agencies.
• Leadership: 1-3+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team of recruiters/sourcers.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, programming languages, and engineering frameworks.
• Sourcing Expertise: Proven track record of engaging high-demand passive engineering talent.
• Data-Driven: Ability to leverage recruiting metrics to influence hiring decisions and optimize processes.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing complex stakeholders.
