With a strong presence in India and expanding international reach, the company serves B2B clients in manufacturing, infrastructure, and export sectors. The digital marketing team drives organic growth to generate qualified RFQs and business enquiries.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead the company’s SEO strategy and strengthen its organic presence across India and global markets. This role is critical for generating qualified B2B opportunities through search, optimizing for commercial intent, and supporting the commercial head’s growth objectives. The SEO Manager will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, managing technical SEO, content strategy, international SEO, and a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals. Create monthly, quarterly, and annual roadmaps. Monitor algorithm updates and establish best practices.
• Keyword & Market Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword mapping, focusing on high-intent commercial, transactional, and long-tail keywords. Analyze search intent, competition, and commercial value across product lines and target markets.
• Technical SEO: Lead audits on crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site speed, mobile performance. Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, structured data, and internal linking. Coordinate with developers to resolve issues.
• On-Page SEO: Optimize product, service, industry, and landing pages. Improve title tags, meta descriptions, headings. Ensure content satisfies search intent and supports conversions.
• International SEO: Develop country-specific strategies, conduct local keyword and competitor research, create country-specific landing pages, and track international organic leads.
• Content Strategy: Manage content calendar, identify gaps, create briefs, and oversee technical articles, blogs, case studies, and guides. Coordinate with technical teams for accuracy.
• B2B Lead Generation: Focus on generating qualified RFQs and enquiries. Optimize landing pages for conversion, analyze enquiry-generating keywords, and work with sales on lead quality.
• Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor rankings, content, backlinks, and identify opportunities.
• Link Building: Develop sustainable outreach campaigns, build backlinks from relevant industry sites, and track growth.
• Team & Agency Management: Manage SEO specialists, writers, and outreach teams. Set KPIs, review work, train, and create SOPs. Liaise with external agencies when needed.
• Analytics & Reporting: Own reporting dashboards (Looker Studio) covering traffic, rankings, conversions, RFQs, technical health, and international performance. Provide actionable insights.

Tech Stack

Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs / Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, Google Business Profile, WordPress (or equivalent CMS), basic HTML/CSS.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, IT, Engineering, or Communications. 4-8 years of hands-on SEO experience. Strong technical, on-page, off-page, and international SEO skills. B2B/industrial/manufacturing experience preferred. Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, WordPress, and HTML/CSS.
