We are seeking an experienced Software Developer II to join our Service Line Development team. In this hybrid role based in Gurgaon, you will build and maintain tools that support both our firm and our clients. Working within an agile framework, you will collaborate closely with teammates in Technology Services and other departments across the company to refine existing products and bring new products and services to market. Your work will cover the entire software development lifecycle—from requirement analysis and design through implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will leverage modern technologies, including generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development and enhance code quality.
• Take ownership and accountability of various assigned stories and tasks each iteration. • Design, develop, document, and test new technology solutions. • Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate software development, including code generation, refactoring, unit test creation, and documentation. • Maintain, support, extend, and test existing web applications. • Research and recommend technical solutions to fit business needs. • Provide help and applicable information to other team members as needed. • Review team code pull requests and provide timely and useful feedback. • Actively participate in team activities and knowledge sharing, including Scrum ceremonies. • Actively participate in the definition and refinement of team processes and activities. • Analyze business and user needs; support users, troubleshoot issues, and train team members. • Thoroughly test technical solutions via unit tests, integration tests, and others as appropriate. • Collaborate with other Technology Services team members and key business stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to independently learn new technologies and best practices as they relate to the firm’s applications. Take ownership of tasks within projects and see them through to completion. Communicate work progress and issues within an agile team and to other non-technical individuals at the firm. Communicate pros and cons of technical solutions within the development team. Ability to articulate business needs and requirements and translate them into technology solutions. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of software development experience.
