Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to strengthen our data team within the AI department. This role is pivotal in establishing top-notch data collection methods to support our model training operations effectively. You will work on building datasets that not only meet the highest quality standards but do so at petabyte scale, while also being cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively search for new audio data sources and manage their integration into our ingestion pipeline.
• Extend and operate our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing Terraform for management.
• Collaborate with scientists to enhance the cost-efficiency and throughput of our data processing, delivering richer datasets at a larger scale.
• Partner with AI Team leaders to define and craft the dataset roadmap that will drive our upcoming consumer and enterprise products.

Salary

Estimated salary based on industry standards: ₹1,00,000 - ₹1,50,000 per month.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficient with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficient in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
• Professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (GCP preferred).
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
