Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Data side of our AI team in Noida, India. This role is responsible for end-to-end data collection to power our model training operations. You will build and maintain petabyte-scale, low-cost datasets through tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research. You will operate and extend cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform, be scrappy in finding new audio data sources, and push the cost/throughput/quality frontier alongside our scientists. As a key contributor, you will help shape Speechify’s dataset roadmap for next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and ingest diverse audio data sources into our pipeline.
• Develop and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Design and maintain web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve data quality, reduce costs, and scale throughput.
• Set priorities with the AI team and leadership to align data acquisition with product goals.
• Optimize Python/Bash scripts for Linux environments to automate and monitor data pipelines.
