We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer III to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is a high-impact, high-ownership position where you will design, build, and own features end-to-end—from ambiguous requirements to production launch and iteration. You will work on the core platform behind AiPrise's compliance orchestration and AI agent systems, including case management, vendor integrations, orchestration APIs, and customer-facing tools. You will collaborate closely with founders and a fast-moving engineering team, transforming messy real-world compliance problems into clean, reliable, and scalable systems. 4-7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems; Strong programming fundamentals in at least one modern backend language (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, etc.); Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems; Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling; Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure acceptable); Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern deployment practices; Proven ability to own features end-to-end; Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and business-to-technical translation skills; Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers (formal or informal). Nice-to-have: FinTech/RegTech/payments/fraud/risk experience; Knowledge of compliance workflows (KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions); Event-driven architecture experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS); NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) or Elasticsearch; Third-party API integration; Frontend (React, TypeScript); ML/AI or data-intensive applications; Kubernetes/Terraform/IaC.
