Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will take a pivotal role in developing user interfaces, interactive elements, and custom games using modern web technologies. You will be leading a team of junior developers, ensuring that the projects align with the client requirements. Your collaboration within a multidisciplinary team will help in designing products that are intuitive and engaging, providing an enriching user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive websites and applications utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with a diverse team including Project Managers, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Specialists, and Designers to meet project goals.
• Use CSS preprocessors such as Sass to create structured modular stylesheets.
• Implement responsive design practices to ensure optimal experiences across all devices.
• Troubleshoot and document browser/platform compatibility issues.
• Engage with clients and partners for effective project delivery.
• Participate in team Kanban or Scrum meetings, contributing to the Agile process.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team skill development.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of proven experience in professional web development.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.js (2-3 years).
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Sass, LESS, or Stylus.
• Experience in Node.js and JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Angular) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git version control system.
• Ability to create responsive designs for a variety of devices.
• Experience with automated tests or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Understanding of build tools such as Gulp, Webpack, or NPM.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfortable using Unix command line interface.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
• Working experience in Agile methodologies.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofing capabilities.
