Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Solutions Manager to join our Business Development team in Mumbai, India. This strategic, client-facing role is pivotal for designing customized payment solutions that align with the rigorous requirements of large enterprises in the digital payments ecosystem. Candidates should possess a robust product background along with experience in enterprise sales within the Indian payments landscape, emphasizing the ability to understand complex merchant requirements and deliver tailored payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Solutioning: Understand the business models and technical requirements of enterprise customers, and design customized payment solutions across industries.
• Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the Business Development and Sales teams during customer meetings and solution presentations, acting as a subject matter expert on payment products.
• Product Collaboration: Work with the Product Management team to stay updated on new products and provide structured feedback from customer interactions to influence product development.
• Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor developments in the Indian payments ecosystem, track emerging technologies, and share actionable insights with internal teams.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful solution delivery and assist implementation teams in overcoming challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the Indian payments industry.
• Prior experience in Product Management, Product Consulting, Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Solution Engineering within a payment gateway, fintech, bank, or digital payments company.
• Experience working with enterprise customers is highly preferred.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Payment Gateways, Payment Orchestration, Online Payment Processing, Merchant Acquiring, UPI, Credit & Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, QR Payments, Payment Links.
• Business & Commercial Skills: Ability to understand complex merchant business models and map customer pain points to product capabilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on feet and develop creative solutions in real-time.
• Personal Attributes: Customer-focused, curious, self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
