Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced South India Sales Head to oversee sales operations in the Makhana and Nuts division. This role involves leading a team, developing strategic sales plans, building a distribution network, and driving growth across South India, which includes Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy for South India, achieve sales targets, and identify new business opportunities across various sales channels, including General Trade, Modern Trade, and Institutional Sales. Prepare business plans and sales forecasts.

• Distribution Network Development: Build a network of Super Stockists, Distributors, and Wholesalers, manage channel partners in key markets, and enhance product availability.

• Sales Management: Drive sales with leading retail chains and improve shelf visibility. Expand the customer base in General Trade through distributors and develop relationships with institutional buyers such as hotels, restaurants, and corporate offices.

• E-Commerce & Digital Business: Support sales growth through online platforms and work with marketing to enhance brand visibility in digital spheres.

• Marketing Strategy: Implement regional marketing campaigns, coordinate events, and monitor market trends and competitor activities.

• Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure targets are met.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed sales reports and market analysis for management presentations.

Qualifications

• MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or Agribusiness (Preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 10–18 years of experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Dry Fruits, Healthy Snacks, Packaged Foods, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role such as Regional Sales Head or Zonal Sales Head.
