Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data & BI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Noida. This role blends deep expertise in business intelligence with strong data engineering fundamentals. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end BI solutions, from data ingestion and transformation to advanced dashboarding. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and contribute to the architectural evolution of our data platform. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about delivering actionable insights from complex data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, data modeling, RLS, and Power BI Service.
• Design and manage end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytics.
• Design scalable data models, including Star Schema, fact, and dimension tables.
• Work with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Lakehouse environments.
• Use Python, Spark/PySpark, and Delta Lake for data processing and automation.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, files, and transactional systems while ensuring data quality.
• Optimize Power BI reports, DAX, SQL, data models, pipelines, and refresh performance.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end data flow from source systems through pipelines to warehouse/lakehouse and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions.
• Perform data reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Follow Git/version-control practices and contribute to technical standards and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and support technical decision-making.
• Take ownership of BI and data engineering solutions from development through deployment and optimization.

Experience in designing or contributing to enterprise-scale BI/data architectures. Experience working with globally distributed teams or international stakeholders.
