In response to growing demand, TJEG is expanding its operations by establishing a dedicated office in Andheri, Mumbai, to support ongoing projects and its international engineering teams.

Role Overview

As a Structural BIM Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in our Mumbai office, contributing your expertise to the development and maintenance of accurate structural BIM models. This position requires an experienced and technically strong individual with 5-6 years of relevant background in the field. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers, BIM coordinators, architects, and MEP teams to deliver high-quality BIM models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit based on engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain structural models for reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural systems.
• Produce structural plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Interpret structural engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines, resolving clashes and modeling issues with Navisworks and other tools.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and incorporate feedback into the models.
• Assist in quality checks, audits, and BIM compliance reviews, maintaining model integrity and project standards.
• Support the preparation of BIM deliverables, particularly for international projects focusing on the UAE.
• Ensure timely completion of all work within agreed project schedules and quality standards.

• Software: Autodesk Revit Structure, Navisworks, AutoCAD
• Understanding Required: Structural BIM modeling workflows, reinforced concrete and steel structures, BIM standards, LOD requirements
• Additional Tools: Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, Dynamo, Structural analysis/design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000)

Requirements

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 5–6 years of relevant experience in Structural BIM Modelling with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Revit Structure.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure.
  • Strong understanding of structural BIM modeling workflows.
  • Good knowledge of reinforced concrete structures and structural steel modeling.
  • Experience using Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for reviewing 2D drawings.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with UAE / GCC projects.
  • Background in large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, Dynamo, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, etc.
• Personal Qualities:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
